In 2025, Local Foreigner clients were looking to relax on the world's best beaches and culture capture in major cities in equal measure.

Europe loomed large, as ever, on the list of our top ten most-booked countries for 2025, with a huge season on the Mediterranean paving the way. But it wasn't all sunshine - Switzerland made its debut on our list this year, spurred by the increased demand for European ski trips. And when you're looking for a one-country multi-stop trip with excellent food and culture, Greece and Japan both fit the bill. But why choose? Several clients did both.
