As a veteran travel writer / author in addition to being a consultant, Meg has spent the last fifteen years traversing the globe, visiting some of the most highly sought-after locations and properties either on assignment or a quest for the next best haunt for clients. She caught not only the travel bug, but also the desire to document and share her findings rather young, keeping copious travel journals and collecting hotel matchbooks (remember those!) since she was thirteen. With a degree in Foreign Languages and Linguistics from Georgetown University as well as three separate stints living abroad (Milan, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires) and now in pursuit of her WSET Level 4 Diploma to become a Master in Wine, Meg embraces a new landscape and challenge, especially when they look, sound and taste good. Now in pursuit of her WSET Level 4 Diploma, Meg's favorite part of trip designing for clients is the a-ha moment when it's clear she's found just the right spot for them.
