After earning her degree from the University of Maryland and building a career in SaaS sales and client success in New York City, she turned her passion for travel into a profession - entering the industry in 2017 and joining The Local Foreigner in 2020. Today, Elizabeth brings nearly a decade of expertise to crafting bespoke itineraries for discerning clients around the globe.
Elizabeth approaches travel planning the way a matchmaker approaches a great love story - it begins as a courtship, getting to know a client's personality, travel style, and what truly moves them, and deepens with every journey shared. There is no single region she calls her specialty; her expertise spans the globe. Elizabeth has crafted multi-layered itineraries across every major region of the world, backed by a carefully cultivated network of regional experts and partners who ensure every experience is as seamless as it is extraordinary.

Elizabeth's own travels are a constant source of inspiration. Through The Local Foreigner, Elizabeth has sought out experiences that go far beyond the expected with her colleagues - trekking Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia and completing the legendary Explora travesía across the Atacama Desert into Bolivia's Uyuni Salt Flats.
On a personal note, her family travels have carried her from the castles and countryside of Ireland and Scotland to the historic landmarks of Europe's great cities, along the sun-drenched coasts of the Mediterranean, to treasured Caribbean escapes every spring, and out west to the snowy peaks of Jackson Hole - each trip adding another layer of first-hand knowledge she brings to every client she serves.
Currently, Elizabeth is based in Charlotte, NC, but she often travels the world alongside her husband and two sons, weaving hard-won personal experience into every journey she designs.
