Louisa Vann is the founder of Louisa Vann Travel and a lifelong student of the world. Born in Austin, Texas, her travel education began in earnest at Wofford College, where she studied in the Galápagos and spent a semester in post-apartheid South Africa. Both experiences cemented a foundational belief: that meaningful travel demands curiosity, humility, and a willingness to adapt to a place rather than expect it to adapt to you.
With a background in public health, social work, and retail entrepreneurship, Louisa brings an unusual combination of analytical rigor and emotional intelligence to the craft of travel planning. She specializes in aesthetically considered, passion-driven itineraries for clients who travel with intention — and who trust her to get every detail right.

Mackenzie's love for travel began in an unexpected way—through aviation. Growing up with a father who was passionate about planes and jets, she developed an early fascination with flying and still prefers the window seat whenever possible. What started as a love of the journey eventually grew into a passion for exploring new destinations, cultures, and cuisines around the world.
One of Mackenzie's most memorable travel experiences was participating in a foreign exchange program in South Africa, where she stayed with a host family on a game reserve and spent a week on safari. Since graduating from the University of South Carolina, she has continued to seek out meaningful travel experiences and has become the go-to trip planner for friends and family. As a dedicated foodie and adventure seeker, Mackenzie loves helping others discover the incredible experiences the world has to offer and create memories that last a lifetime.
