Raised between London, Tokyo, and half a dozen US cities, Kelly didn't just develop the travel bug -- she was born with it. Taking her first solo flight at the ripe old age of nine, Kelly has always had a flair for independence and hasn't stopped booking flights since. She holds a Master's degree in sports nutrition, but it was a transformative first trip to South Africa that sparked a passion for travel and inspired a career shift she has never looked back on.
Kelly worked as a Trip Designer at a high-end travel agency in New York before joining the Local Foreigner team as an Independent Affiliate in 2021. Always up for an adventure, Kelly has a soft spot for far-flung, remote destinations - with Rwanda, New Zealand, and Chile among her all-time favorites. When she's not traversing the globe, Kelly enjoys all things outdoors with her husband and dog and holds a special place in her heart for alpine pursuits like hiking and snowboarding.
