Brendan grew up traveling the world extensively (his first memory in life is lying on his mother’s lap listening to reggae music in Jamaica). After attending Syracuse University, he moved to New York City to pursue a successful career in publishing where he held several leadership positions at GQ, VOGUE, T Magazine, and, ultimately, as the Publisher of Conde Nast Traveler. It was there that his passion for travel became an obsession, which led him to this space and path. Brendan has lived all over the world, from Hong Kong to London, and currently resides in New York City with his husband Mark.

Ever since Mark was a child, travel has played a big part in his life. His parents, both teachers, instilled travel as a way to educate and experience life in a more enjoyable and fulfilling way outside of a classroom. Mark has been to 43 of the 50 United States, as well as countless countries around the world. While attending The University of Illinois, he studied abroad in Germany, and then landed a career in media, specializing in lifestyle and travel brands (including Food Network, Travel Channel, HGTV).
After leaving media, Mark took his love for travel & hospitality and went to work for Marriott International, as head of Global Partnerships for one of their hotel collections. Shortly after getting married in the Bahamas to his husband Brendan, a move to Hong Kong landed them living in a five-star hotel immersing themselves in the Asian culture. Mark became part of the hotel brand’s Wellness program, spearheading the running club for both guests and staff, showing them a different way to explore a city by foot. After returning to NYC, and creating a small “caviar pie” company inspired by their Hong Kong adventure, Mark and his husband wanted to use their travel, lifestyle, & culinary backgrounds to create luxury travel experiences for the inspired travelers around the world. They founded Coolidge & Co. in 2024.
