Bon Vivant Luxury Travel was created for the traveler who has been almost everywhere, can tell a great hotel from a great-looking hotel before the limo door closes, and wants access to the trips most people don't know exist. Anne Poole, the founder of Bon Vivant, logged a million frequent flyer miles before her eighteenth birthday and eventually found that planning extraordinary trips for people she cares about was the most natural thing she'd ever done.
Anne believes a great trip isn't just well-planned: it's unexpected, specific, and entirely yours. A 14th century English castle in the countryside to yourself and twenty of your closest friends on Friday, then a private murder mystery on the Belmond British Pullman on Sunday. A Michelin lunch one day, then a perfect little oyster shack the next. Opening the Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive, then an afternoon on a sixth-generation family-run farm learning to make mozzarella. Anyone can book a good hotel. Finding the right one, and everything around it, takes someone who knows people, knows places, and knows what you want before you've finished the sentence.
Bon Vivant works with couples, families, friend groups, and the multi-family trips where twenty suitcases and three generations need to land happily in the same villa. The promise is always the same: thoughtful planning, real experience and expertise, and Anne in your corner when it matters most.

Anne believes the best trips are the ones with a story you didn't see coming, and she comes by the conviction honestly. By the time she was sixteen, she had shared a Tokyo dinner table with a bowl of live baby snakes and been rerouted from Sri Lanka to post-Soviet Moscow with a cobra-in-her-room story already under her belt. A Georgetown grad and former pediatric nurse practitioner, Anne has always been in the business of taking care of people; it just looks a little different now. Bon Vivant began when one too many friends offered to buy her lunch in exchange for a trip plan. Based in Boston with a long-standing tie to Maui, Anne travels with her husband and three children whenever possible, and without them when necessary.
